What is sushi?

Sushi is unique Japanese rice dish, which has been around since 7th century. In order to make a sushi, we need a few ingredients such as fish, rice, wasabi and gari. We must know that sushi has kind of sourness taste to it more you get balance right the nicer will be taster too. The taste comes from either fish or vinegar. That is why in old day fermenting fish was used. However today due to more demands, such taste comes from vinegar (mixture).

Why do we use 「Wasabi」?

Wasabi is green paste and spicy which used between fish and rice. It has an antiseptic effect so it can kill germs of raw fish. It’s called natural sterilizing ingredient.


What is 「Gari」?

Gari is picked ginger, which serves beside sushi. It works like wasabi. Beside that, ginger warms your body and helps your stomach to digest the food. You definitely should try and experience to make sushi. They are not only healthy but also enjoyable food to eat.
